Detached house (casale) with a private swimming pool. Amazing location on top of a hill at 2 km from Campiglia and 12 km from Castiglione d'Orcia, which is 65 km south east of Siena. This house is nicely furnished and, thanks to its location, allows you to enjoy an all around marvellous view of the hills around it. It is an ideal location for many excursions. The city of Siena is a must see with its marvellous medieval centre. The Crete Senesi are close by, as well as the typical villages with their historic centres, beautiful churches, nice shops and good restaurants: Bagni San Filippo, San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano. Bagno Vignoni and Chianciano Terme each have a spa; at Bagno Vignoni you will even find the original spring water basin. This part of the country is also famous for its delicious wines and sheep cheese (pecorino).

Adembenemend uitzicht, volledige stilte.

Een mooi huis dat in een schitterende omgeving ligt, de toegangsweg is "rustiek" zeer matig berijdbaar. De grindweg op het terrein is voor normale auto' s bijna niet te berijden. De prijs van het gas dat verbruikt wordt is hoog er blijkt lpg te worden gebruikt dat per m3 4 x zo duur is als aardgas in Nederland. Maar alles bij elkaar toch een huis dat zeer de moeite waard is.

Schitterend gelegen huis met prachtig zicht en zeer rustig. Weg van de toeristische drukte. Het huis was van binnen net met zorg gerenoveerd. De eigenaar/verantwoordelijke sprak goed Engels en was zeer gastvrij en bekommerd om ons een goed verblijf te bezorgen. Fantastische vakantie gehad!
