Holiday house in Lagleygeolle with pool, in Dordogne-Limousin

This completely detached, carefully restored holiday house with (heated) private swimming pool, large terrace and enclosed garden is located in the midst of the beautiful hilly landscape of the southern Corrèze, 6 km from the pleasant market town of Meyssac. The holiday house is in a quiet location in a small neighbourhood with a few farms. At the rear is the 15th-century and now uninhabited Château du Theil. When restoring the house, the owner used the original 'pierres rouges' from the region. From the terrace and at the pool you have a wonderful unobstructed view of the surrounding hills and forests. You can go to Meyssac for all your groceries and there are a few restaurants and cafés. There is an animated market on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Numerous beautiful walks can be made in the immediate vicinity and the small country roads are inviting for cycling enthusiasts. A visit to the nearby Collonges-la-Rouge should certainly not be missing on the program. It is a beautiful medieval village entirely made of red sandstone and belonging to 'un des plus beaux villages de France'. Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne (25 km) is also a cozy and lively village. You can rent canoes and make a wonderful trip on the Dordogne river. Thanks to its central location on the border of three departments (Lot, Dordogne, Corrèze), trips to the impressive Gouffre de Padirac with its underground river and to the pilgrimage town of Rocamadour are also possible.
